The Vancouver Canucks have impressed this season, as they sit in the playoff position, and the property has given the club its seal of approval. Francesco Aquilini, president of Canucks Sports & Entertainment and owner of the franchise, made it clear when he tweeted live the Canucks showdown against the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday.
Aquilini began by citing the importance of the game; he hoped the team could sweep his back against Edmonton after what he called “a tough road trip, quot; in which Vancouver lost three of six.

He likes what he has seen in this club, from his star players to the group in general. Elias Pettersson leads the team with 11 goals and 31 points in 27 games.
I really enjoy watching this group, individual skill and team play.

The Vancouver businessman also commented on the leadership of Bo Horvat, who was named captain at the beginning of the season after the team ran out of one after the Sedin twins retired in 2018.
“Bo has taken the responsibilities of & # 39; C & # 39; calmly, excellent leader,quot; Aquilini wrote.
Brock Boeser scored his eleventh goal of the season in the first period, with rookie Quinn Hughes and J.T. Miller adding assists. The Canucks also finished the period in the power game, which has seen a significant improvement and ranks fourth in the league (26.9 percent). That unit also captured Aquilini’s attention, especially with the incorporation of Hughes, who received high praise from the owner.
Totally different PP with Hughes out there. It reminds me of Brian Leetch, so @ soft

Aquilini did not shy away from calling Miller’s critics after the 26-year-old striker registered his 28th point in 28 games. Vancouver acquired Miller in a draft day exchange, and some people were skeptical that the club would invest in someone who played in the fourth line of the Tampa Bay Lightning. Miller is thriving with his new team as top scorer who is on his way to reaching the 82 highest points of his career.
I didn’t hear much from the critics of the JT Miller exchange that Jim did these days

Beyond the game, Aquilini also gave an update on the development of the team’s perspectives.
Jim tells me that his group is extremely satisfied with the progress of several of our prospects, including Madden, Podkolzin, Hoglander.
