Antonio Brown tweeted a holiday-themed video message Sunday night, and he seemed to say. . . Well, we're not exactly sure, but it showed him and Rob Gronkowski to catch passes for the Patriots, so that's a clue.
Maybe the video was Brown's indirect way of saying, "Please take me back. You're not good without me."
Brown posted the video in "All I Want for Christmas is you,quot; by Mariah Carey, while the New England offensive was struggling to move the ball against Texans in Houston. Pats quarterback Tom Brady finished with 326 aerial yards and three touchdowns in the team's 28-22 loss, but most of that production occurred while the Patriots (10-2) were at a disadvantage by multiple scores Brady completed 24 of 47 passes overall after going 7 to 19 in the first half.
The Patriots released Brown on September 20 after Sports Illustrated reported that Brown had sent a woman who accused him of inappropriate sexual behavior and threatened text messages. Brown is also being sued in South Florida by a former acquaintance who accused him of rape and sexual assault. Brown played in a single game for New England, caught four passes and ran once against the Dolphins in Week 2.

Brown apologized on Twitter with team owner Robert Kraft on November 19, and also asked the team in October to bring him back, all while fighting the administration for millions of dollars that he says he owes after cutting it.
Brown filed multiple complaints with an arbitrator in October seeking to recover about $ 40 million in total, as described by Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, "unpaid salary, fines and voided guarantees,quot; of the Raiders Patriots. Oakland cut it just before week 1 after Brown posted a video that included an audio recording of an explicit telephone conversation between him and coach Jon Gruden.
Rapoport reported that the complaints, which were filed on behalf of Brown by the NFL Players Association, will probably not be heard until next year.
In addition, the NFL is investigating Brown to determine whether he should suspend him according to the league's personal conduct policy. Brown met with league representatives in November.
The addition of Gronkowski at the end of Brown's video was interesting given that the tight end has sent mixed signals about a possible return to football this season. Also, as Pro Football Talk reported, Gronk can't play this year because Saturday's court didn't activate it.
