Authorities said about 7500 tests had been carried out yesterday, following 10,000 the day before.
Two locally-acquired cases were recorded in the state on Friday, connected to the Holiday Inn outbreak.
Both people were already isolating in hotel quarantine.
Premier Daniel Andrews has said they pose no public health risk.
Victoria returned to its “COVIDSafe Summer” plan overnight, meaning masks will no longer be required except in high-risk indoor environments and gatherings of up to 30 people in homes are now allowed.
