Woman charged with attacking own son in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs


“Initially he had extremely low blood pressure indicating he had a significant amount of bleeding and the location of the wounds can certainly be fatal,” NSW Ambulance Inspector Giles Buchanan told .

A crime scene was set up and the victim’s 55-year-old mother was taken into custody.

A knife was collected as evidence and is being forensically tested.

The woman has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and was refused bail, to appear at Parramatta Local Court tomorrow.

The man underwent emergency surgery today but his condition is unknown.
