Fantasy injury updates: Derrick Henry, Alexander Mattison, Jordan Howard, plus RBs affect Week 16 decisions to start, sit down and make decisions

Fantasy football owners already know that they will be without Dalvin Cook for their fantasy championship games, and now Derrick Henry also tends to be out. We won't know for sure about Henry until a decision is made at the time of the game, and that is probably also true for Alexander Mattison on Monday night. We know that Kerryon Johnson will return and that Jordan Howard is once again unlikely to play, but he cannot finalize his starting decisions of Week 16, until the official active / inactive reports are published. Fortunately, you can find the latest injury updates below.

Does Derrick Henry play week 16?

Henry (hamstrings) was not in the original Titans injury report after a full practice on Friday, but was downgraded to "questionable"On Saturday, he has many thoughts that he won't play against the Saints. It doesn't help that Tennessee promoted a return from his practice squad on Saturday as well.

If Henry is active, it will be difficult to sit him down, but he could see a significantly reduced workload against one of the league's top career defenses. This situation is a total disaster, and it could be easier if Henry is declared inactive. If that happens, Dion Lewis will probably handle most of the RB touches, and although it would still have value in the PPR leagues, it would hardly be a FLEX in the standard leagues given the showdown.

Is Alexander Mattison playing Monday night?

Mattison (ankle) missed the game last week and did nothing in practice all week except participate in individual drills on Saturday, but still listed as "questionable, quot; for Monday night's game against Green Bay.

With Dalvin Cook (shoulder) already ruled out, Mattison would be in line to handle most of the carries in a very favorable confrontation. However, it seems unlikely that he will play, or at least play an important role, given his lack of practice time in the last two weeks. If that is the case, Mike Boone would function as a leader and have RB2 potential. The factor of Monday night is the killer here, whether you have Mattison or Boone. At this point, you should definitely not count on Mattison. Boone should see at least more than 10 touches even if Mattison is active, so he can expect it as FLEX if he really doesn't like his other clashes.

Jordan Howard injury update

Howard (shoulder) has not yet been authorized for contact (as far as we know), so his "questionable"The tag for Sunday afternoon's game against the Cowboys doesn't really mean much. He is likely to miss his sixth straight game.

Miles Sanders will once again function as the main Philadelphia racer, with Boston Scott working as a change of pace. Sanders is an RB2 and Scott has some FLEX value in the PPR leagues.

Does Kerryon Johnson play week 16?

Johnson (knee) has been activated from IR and will play Sunday against the Broncos. Lions coach Matt Patricia has already said the team will be "intelligent"With the way they use Johnson, which seems to indicate that he will only see around 10-12 carries."

Johnson hasn't played since week 7, so it wouldn't be surprising if he was a little rusty. Nor is it an easy confrontation, so Johnson is nothing more than a TD-dependent FLEX in the standard leagues.
