I Love Lucy Christmas Special will come to CBS with a new coloring – Lucille Ball is still the party favorite


Fans of the iconic show I love Lucy They are in special congratulations. Starring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, Jr., the holiday special will air on CBS on Friday, December 20, 2019, with two consecutive colored episodes. Fans are so excited about the Christmas special that they have been talking about it on social media. The event will begin at 8 p.m. ET and CBS will broadcast "The Christmas Episode,quot; and "Paris At Last." Both will be in color. CBS has played "The Christmas Episode,quot; for the past six years and for some homes, it has become a Christmas tradition.

CBS described the two episodes as follows.

"The Christmas Episode,quot; finds Ricardos and Mertzes decorating the Christmas tree of Lucy and Ricky and remembering how their lives have changed since the arrival of Ricardos's son, Little Ricky (Keith Thibodeaux). The flashbacks remember the night Lucy told Ricky she was pregnant, the time Lucy appeared unexpectedly as part of a barbershop quartet and the day Ricky and the Mertzes tried to take Lucy to the maternity ward.

"The Christmas Episode,quot; was first broadcast on CBS on Christmas Eve 1956. The episode was not included in the series' long history of broadcasts, first on CBS Daytime and then on syndication. For a long time it was thought that he was lost, the program was rediscovered by CBS in 1989.
