Fantasy football championship week is here in most leagues and the moment Chris Godwin is injured will not help the WR classification. DeAndre Hopkins, DJ Chark, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Christian Kirk could also influence the decisions of open receivers. In QB, the same goes for Dak Prescott, who is dealing with a shoulder injury before the Week 16 clash with the Eagles. We will have updates on all these players below.

Dak Prescott Injury Update

For the first time in his career, Prescott had a limited practice on Wednesday. Cooper Rush took most of the first team repetitions for the Cowboys when Prescott deals with what his teammate Ezekiel Elliott called a "Joint AC"Injury. Rush told reporters that he had the same injury in college and didn't miss a game. The Cowboys coach talked about Prescott on Thursday:

In a great game against the Eagles, Prescott will surely be on the field. It would be encouraging for his fantasy owners hoping to use it against a bad high school to see him get more practice reps this week, but regardless, if Prescott is active, it's a top 10 QB for Week 16.

Chris Godwin plays Saturday?

After Bruce Arians said earlier this week that Godwin's hamstring injury "doesn't look good," Godwin lost practice all week. With the Buccaneers starting at 1 p.m. ET Saturday, Godwin seems unlikely to play.

Assuming Godwin is out, Breshad Perriman is a forced start against the bad Houston high school. Justin Watson has a strong FLEX appeal as number 2 on the grid, and the third WR Ishmael Hyman has a certain DFS appeal on Saturday's board. Wait for tight ends O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate each see a number of goals if Godwin is also out.

DeAndre Hopkins plays on Saturday?

Hopkins was absent from Houston practice on Wednesday with a disease while Will Fuller V he was limited with his hamstring injury. Currently both are expected to be well and adapt on Saturday against the secondary escape of the Buccaneers.

Kenny Stills would come into play as a WR3 / FLEX option if Hopkins or Fuller missed the game, but that seems unlikely. As of now, Hopkins is locked as one of the main receivers of this week, while Fuller is a high-potential WR3.

DJ Chark injury news

Chark (ankle) went back to practice in a limited way on Wednesday after missing the Jacksonville game on Sunday. The Jaguars play in Atlanta at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Given how poor the Falcons high school is, a return of Chark would be huge as a strong WR2 for the fantasy championship week. If Chark does not return, the three Chris Conley, Dede Westbrook and Keelan Cole have varying degrees of attractive FLEX.

Does JuJu Smith-Schuster play in week 16?

The Steelers are following the same plan like last week with Smith-Schuster (knee), allowing him to practice earlier this week and see how his body responds. A week ago, that meant a complete practice on Wednesday before leaving on Sunday. This week, Smith-Schuster began with a limited practice on Wednesday.

The suggestion here is that weekend practice reports will count towards JuJu because if the Steelers think their knee responds well, it will increase it. Pittsburgh faces the Jets in Week 16, and it's hard to count any of their scorers as nothing more than the desperation FLEX plays.

Christian Kirk injury update

Kirk (ankle) I did not practice on Wednesday. A practice time was lost a week ago before playing in Week 15. That means that Kirk's practice reports on weekends will be the most telling about his status for Sunday's game in Seattle.

If Kirk fails practice at the end of the week, he could miss Sunday's game, but right now he is the only Arizona WR worth considering as WR3 / FLEX for Week 16. Damiere Byrd would probably play more if Kirk is out and could be considered for DFS. .
