RHOD's Kameron Westcott had to undergo surgery for an extremely rare disease

Kameron Westcott revealed to his fans that he was undergoing multiple surgeries through social networks. The star of Real Housewives of Dallas left the hospital and gave a recent update.

The future Westcott matriarch suffers from a disease that only affects 1 in 200k people called Achalasia. She shared a photo of the hospital bed on December 10.

‘You feel ultra fabulous today! Today I undergo esophageal surgery to repair my achalasia. For those who don't know … Achalasia is when the pressure of the esophageal tube and sphincter is lost to push food down. (In blonde words.) Achalasia affects 1 in 200,000 people. It is a rare disease of the esophagus and the cause is still unknown. A few years ago they developed a procedure in Tokyo, Japan, called POEM. Now we have 2 to 4 doctors in the USA. UU. They use the method and we are very grateful that Dr. Mitchell Stravropoulos himself has been trained in Japan to help heal so many Achalasia patients who are fighting in the USA. UU.! I already completed a 3-hour surgery and headed to the next phase of the surgery, that's what the liquid diet is about in my stories! "

She took her treatment calmly while complaining jokingly about how "non-luxurious,quot; hospitals were. Before her operation, the mother of two made sure to take her children on a tour of New York to see everything the big apple has to offer.

On the 13th, Kameron returned to Dallas.

Bravolebrity shared a photo of herself with her feet up next to a legend that said: ‘I came home from New York !! Sip my way through the weekend! (Literally 🤣) Two more days until soft food !! "Happy weekend everyone!"

Westcott has had a great season of RHOD. He went from being seen as the princess trapped to the hilarious diagram expert. She is also one of the only ones who faced Leanne Locken in the program about her racially insensitive behavior before the recording of the meeting.

Get well soon, Kameron!
