Diddy turned to social media to pay tribute to his late ex, Kim Porter, once again! The rapper's 50th birthday was in November, but he decided to celebrate it on December 14 as a way to mark the death of the model.
You may remember that Kim Porter died in November last year at the age of only 47.
That said, in what would have been Kim's 49th birthday, Diddy shared a sweet Instagram video with the caption: ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY @ladykp. Words can't explain how much we miss you, but today is your birthday. We are celebrating today! We love you and we miss you!
The black and white tribute clip began with the model showing her talent for singing covering India. "Ready for love, quot; by Arie.
The lyrics read: "For a man who loves music, a man who loves art, respects the spirit world and thinks with his heart," and it sounded totally as if he dedicated the song to Diddy.
Next, the clip showed a motange of the former couple and their family, showing images of Kim holding one of the four children they shared as a baby, but also photos of family vacations and older videos of Kim and Diddy looking happy together .
Although they were no longer together when Kim passed away surprisingly and unexpectedly last year, Diddy has shown many times that he was really affected by his premature death.
The man even admitted having regretted marrying her at some time during their relationship.
The clips included in the tribute video are proof enough that they were happy at some point, which makes Kim's death even sadder.
The tribute is beautiful and very personal. Make sure to check it out!
