In a world where there are so many disputes, it is an irrefutable fact that couples separate every year, throughout the year, without fail. And this year is no exception. Not everyone who kissed at midnight on December 31 will repeat the ritual as the ball falls in 2019 and marks the beginning in 2020.

Most of the separation of forms, disagreement agreements and dissolution of marriage is done in private, to people whose names will never be known.

But sometimes it happens to Kylie Jenneror Miley Cyrusor Jeff Bezos—Names that everyone knows. (Or at least we'll bet that he knows at least one in three, whatever).

So, as the sun prepares to set another year, over an entire decade, it's time to take stock of the celebrities who decided to end 2019 without the person they started with.

However, not all of those couples. The list of those who entered and left each other's life is as good as it is endless. Instead, here is a sample of ruptures, reduced to those that completely shocked or at least seemed to come out of nowhere at that particular moment.

You may have predicted all, some or none, but these were the end-of-era divisions of 2019:

Ah, love, it goes up and down like the tide. And in 2020, the arena will move under our feet again with all the new connections, commitments, marriages and, yes, the inevitable divisions.
