Fantasy Football injury updates: Noah Fant, Mark Andrews and Jared Cook affect Week 15 TE ranking

The closed-wing classification of week 15 could be in a greater flow of injuries, with Noah Fant, Mark Andrews, Jared Cook and Ryan Griffin unable to finish their games on Sunday. That could make Hayden Hurst a popular exemption pickup for Week 15 and more fantasy playoff clashes. We have the latest updates below.

Noah Fant injury update

Fant had already passed 100 yards and scored a touchdown when he needed to be taken out on Sunday due to a foot injury. No update was provided after the game on Fant status.

With Drew Lock as a competent NFL quarterback and a favorable confrontation against the Chiefs in Week 15, Fant fit in as a transmissible tight end before his injury. We wouldn't be so excited about Jeff Heuerman if Fant missed that game, but it's still a potential flow depending on your QB situation.

Mark Andrews injury news

Andrews left Sunday's game in Buffalo with what was called a right knee injury. Then, ESPN's Adam Schefter He reported that it is a "bruise between the thigh and the knee, quot; and that "it is nothing important."

The Ravens play Thursday night football in week 15, so it will be a quick change for Andrews. If he's out, expect Hayden Hurst to get his lowest goals, while Nick Boyle should also be more involved in the red zone. Hurst is an easy plug and use replacement for Andrews owners.

Jared Cook Concussion Update

If you played Cook on Sunday, you were happy when he caught two touchdowns in the first half. But in the second score he suffered a concussion and did not return. Its availability for Monday Night Football in week 15 will depend on the elimination of the concussion protocol.

Josh Hill caught a touchdown after Cook left Sunday, and Taysom Hill also saw a lot of racing as a nominal tight end. There really is no reason to plan to play in Week 15 (unless fantasy sites decide that Taysom Hill can qualify in TE now).

Ryan Griffin Injury Update

Griffin was rolled up early Sunday and left with an ankle injury. He did not return. Adam Gase only confirmed after the game that it is an ankle injury for Griffin, without providing further comments.

The Jets play Thursday night against the Ravens, which could mean that Griffin shows up in Week 15. Daniel Brown played 60 of 69 snapshots as a replacement for Griffin, but was only attacked twice and is off the fantasy radar . Griffin owners should try to beat Andrews owners with Hayden Hurst in the exemption cable.
