Fantasy Football injury updates: Evan Engram, Gerald Everett, Greg Olsen affect the 15 Week TE ranking

If Evan Engram can return for Week 15, the closed-wing rankings will return almost to their maximum level (although Mark Andrews' injury means that may not be entirely true). We are also looking for the latest updates on Gerald Everett and Greg Olsen, who also missed Week 14. If they remain outside, Tyler Higbee and Ian Thomas would again serve as priority and sleeping waivers.

Evan Engram injury update

After it was speculated that Engram (foot) would return for Week 14, it was ruled out on Saturday before the Giants game on Monday night. He has lost four consecutive contests due to a foot injury, which allows Kaden Smith to continue starting. New York faces the Dolphins on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET in week 15.

Engram reconnects to fantasy lineups if it is active, while Smith is still a deep league option if it starts with the Dolphins.

News about Gerald Everett's injuries

Everett (knee) has missed two straight games, while Tyler Higbee has exceeded 100 yards in both. Sean McVay told reporters On Monday Everett is making progress, but the practice will probably be suspended earlier this week.

Given that Higbee had already overtaken Everett before the injury, anyone who trusts Higbee at this time should not worry. Higbee showed that his 100-yard game against the Cardinals was not a coincidence when he did it again, making him a limit fantasy starter for Week 15 against the Cowboys.

Greg Olsen's concussion state

Olsen missed week 14 after suffering a concussion in week 13. Ian Thomas saw 10 goals and scored a touchdown in the absence of Olsen. A return for Olsen will depend on clearing the NFL concussion protocol.

The Panthers face the Seahawks in Week 15, who only allowed Tyler Higbee a 100-yard game, so whichever Olsen or Thomas starts should be considered a background fantasy opener.
