Dove Cameron talked about continuing the story of the descendants without his co-star and dear friend Cameron Boyce. As you know, the 20-year-old actor tragically lost his life after suffering a seizure in July.
Cameron had already played his part in the third installment of Disney's descendants before his death, so he still appeared on it after he died.
However, when it comes to doing more in the future, Dove made it clear that he believes the franchise cannot continue without Cameron.
While it seems that Disney originally planned to have a room, after the death of Cameron, those plans were discarded and Dove believes it is the best and should continue.
The actress was at the opening of Frozen the Musical at the Hollywood Pantages Theater when she spoke with HollywoodLife and shared her opinion on the heartbreaking situation.
‘What happened was incredibly heartbreaking for all of us and something we couldn't recover from. And then, I think the idea of making another movie while it would be nostalgic for all of us, and while it would be healing in many ways, it could also be very bad, "he told the media.
She continued explaining that: “ Then I could go anyway and it really depends on how we all feel and I think how beautiful Disney has made is that they have created a safe space for the cast wherever they are. They canceled everything when Cameron passed away and I know they want what is best for our interests, so we'll see. I doubt it, but we'll see. "
