The next Deepika Padukone movie, Chhapaak, is definitely a special movie. The actress will be seen in a survivor role of an acid attack. The film is inspired by the story of Laxmi Aggarwal, who was the victim of this cruel act. Previously, we had revealed that the movie's trailer will be released on December 10. Interestingly, December 10 is also World Human Rights Day.
In an interview with a leading newspaper, Meghna Gulzar said it is a nice coincidence that the day of the launch of the advance coincides with World Human Rights Day, taking into account the theme of the film. The filmmaker also said that Deepika was the perfect choice for his film. She said she greatly appreciates her trade and that she probably wouldn't even have made the movie without her.
Chhapaak also stars in the extremely talented Vikrant Massey as the protagonist and is scheduled to launch on January 10.
