Earlier this week, Justin Timberlake apologized publicly through social networks for the photos that showed him holding hands with his Palm tree co-star Alisha Wainwright in a bar. In a new segment of "hot topics," talk show host Wendy Williams said she believes Timberlake's wife, Jessica Biel, forced him to apologize even though it wasn't necessary.
In his statement, Timberlake wrote that he stays away from gossip as much as he can, but he felt it was important for his family to address the rumors about him and Wainwright because they were hurting the people he loved.
“A few weeks ago I showed a strong lapse in the trial, but let me be clear, nothing happened between my co-star and me. I drank too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better, ”Timberlake wrote.
He went on to say that this is not the example he wants to give his son, Silas, and he apologized to his "incredible wife and family, quot; for making them feel so embarrassed. Timberlake said he is focused on being the best husband and father he can be, and "this was not that."
The 38-year-old man concluded his statement by telling his fans that he is proud to work in Palmero, and he hopes to complete the movie and is excited for people to see it.
Williams said in The Wendy Williams show that it was not necessary for Timberlake to apologize because the story was already dead, and mentioning it again shows that things "must be hell at home."
The interview program diva said that Biel probably grabbed her husband by the neck and demanded that he "go out and say something."
“What only makes it a bigger situation than it was. I had forgotten it, ”said Williams.
He then asked his studio audience if they had forgotten about the photos and the rumors, and answered yes with applause. Williams said that all Timberlake's statement did was show the world that their marriage "must be in trouble now."
Wendy Williams then gave him an honest opinion about Timberlake and Biel's relationship, saying they look good together, but he doesn't see Biel's appeal "beyond appearance." Williams said that Biel is a "lovely girl, quot; who is "very beautiful." But, she sees Timberlake with someone who has "a little twist in her step."
"I don't see that he can dance with his music or drink all night with him. Maybe too serious for him," Williams said.
