Last month, Kanye West joined Pastor Joel Osteen on the central campus of Lakewood Church in Houston to talk to the congregation about his conversion to Christianity after releasing his religious rap album. Jesus is king in October. Now, the duo has announced that they are joining again, and this time they plan to fill Yankee Stadium in New York City for an event titled "Night of Hope."

According to Page six, he Jesus walks The rapper will join Joel and his wife Victoria on Saturday, May 2, 2020 for a show that will feature praise and worship music, testimony, encouragement from Victoria and an inspiring message from Joel.

Joel and Victoria have Night of Hope events scheduled in 11 cities in the United States in 2020, but West will only be part of the Bronx show. The expectation is that the rapper will perform with his choir after Joel's sermon.

When he spoke at Joel's church in Houston, Kanye said he has been the center of a serious spiritual warfare for years.

"I know that God has been calling me for a long time and that the devil has been distracting me for a long time," said West.

He also talked about the lowest point of his life, which West says happened in 2016 when he had a "mental breakdown, quot; and ended up in the hospital. He explained to the Osteen congregation that God was there with him, sending him visions and inspiring him.

Kanye has already taken his Sunday service to Queens this year, but the event at Yankee Stadium will be massive as there are almost 55,000 seats in the stands plus seats in the field. Those are more seats than Osteen has in his Lakewood church in Houston, which used to be a multipurpose sports arena in which the Houston Rockets had their home games.

Joel and Victoria Osteen have been touring the Night of Hope event for years, and this will be the third time they will take him to Yankee Stadium. Of course, this will be the first time Kanye is there. But, after their successful collaboration in Lakewood, Joel Osteen and Kanye West decided to do it again, they just had to go further.
