Joycelyn Savage finally made a statement about the account in Patreon that claimed to document her time with R. Kelly. She says it wasn't her.
If you're not up to date on the latest drama surrounding the troubled R,amp;B singer, a few weeks ago it seemed that one of his two loyal girlfriends finally turned against him. An Instagram account that claimed to belong to her began telling the supposed story of how she met Kelly and the path that led to her included abuse, abortions and more.
The person behind the account took the storytelling from the social media platform to a crowdfunding site for artists and creators where he charged various fees for portions of his story.
After the website failed to verify his identity, Patreon withdrew the account and rumors began that it was never her to start.
Now, Joycelyn is talking exclusively with TMZ about the situation. She appeared in a video where she read a script: ‘I'm really tired of all the lies they tell about the man we love so much and our best friend. It has been said that I have left him and that he has abused me and all kinds of nonsense. I said before, none of that is true. It's a shame how they are treating it. It is very bad on many levels, and he does not deserve it. I will not be part of the murder of the name, the musical career and the character of R. Kelly ".
She finished her statement with a plea to have her boyfriend released and confirmed that someone pretends to be her online.
It was said that Azriel Clary, Robert's second girlfriend, was at his side during the video, but never appeared before the camera.
