Fantasy Football injury updates: Julio Jones, T.Y. Hilton, Adam Thielen, will shake calls from Week 14 to start them, sit them down

Julio Jones, T.Y. Hilton and Adam Thielen met the requirements as the best 10 WR of fantasy that went to Week 14, except that all three are fighting injuries that could harm fantasy owners immensely in the fantasy playoffs. That doesn't even mention JuJu Smith-Schuster and Golden Tate's injuries that also have the WR rating in flux and could leave him looking for the dream of an exemption cable. We have the latest news and updates on those five wideouts below.

Julio Jones injury update

Falcons head coach Dan Quinn had already rejected the idea that Jones could be closed for the season, and Monday, Quinn said Jones' availability (shoulder) for week 14 is "on the rise." He added that Jones would have had a better chance of playing in Week 13 if Atlanta had played Sunday instead of Thanksgiving.

It seems that if we don't see Julio this week, it will be week 15 at the latest with how his recovery went. Of course, you start Jones the moment he returns to the field; More interesting are Calvin Ridley, Christian Blake and Russell Gage if Jones stays out. Ridley is a must start, but Blake and Gage are a FLEX decision to flip a coin with some advantage in a heavy pass offense: on Thanksgiving, they both had viable PPR days, although Gage proved to be a bit more valuable with a landing.

It's T.Y. Hilton playing in week 13?

Hilton (calf) returned in week 12 before missing week 13, as the same injury apparently worsened. Colts head coach Frank Reich he said Monday That is "hopeful, quot; Hilton will return this season. Indy plays in Tampa Bay at 1 p.m. ET in week 14.

"Hope, quot; doesn't sound safe and seems to suggest that Hilton is a little further than this week. Tampa has been burned by the WR throughout the year, which means that if Hilton is out, he can consider Zach Pascal and even Marcus Johnson as possible WR3 / FLEX games. After catching seven balls in 10 goals for 109 yards, Pascal would be the preferred play and should withdraw from the exemptions if available.

Adam Thielen's injury news

Thielen (hamstrings) practiced all week 13 before being discarded on Sunday before Monday night's game in Minnesota. There were no more updates on his injury after the loss of the Vikings.

Thielen's trajectory shows the deception of hamstring injuries, as the practices were apparently not enough to avoid a setback that made him lose Monday. It seems likely to play in week 14, but obviously that's just a guess at the moment. If Thielen remains out, tight end Kyle Rudolph will remain the biggest beneficiary in Week 14's confrontation with the Lions.

Will JuJu Smith-Schuster play week 14?

Smith-Schuster (knee) was lost week 13 after being ruled out on Friday. He has not played since week 11, nor has he practiced in that period of time. Pittsburgh plays in the afternoon slot in Arizona in week 14.

JuJu has been so disappointing anyway that his absence is probably not costing his fantasy owners a lot. The biggest beneficiary has been James Washington, who has shown himself a viable deep ball goal and a FLEX game loaded upside down with Devlin Hodges throwing it.

Golden Tate injury update

Tate (concussion) was ruled out Friday for Sunday's game after suffering a concussion in week 12. The Giants don't play until Monday night in week 14 against the Eagles, so Tate's status It will probably be updated later than usual.

A vulnerable high school in Philadelphia would be a good confrontation for Tate to return. Darius Slayton and Sterling Shepard are possible WR3 with Tate out. If all three are healthy, they can still be used at least as FLEX options.
