DraftKings Week 14 Thursday Night Showdown: Selections, tips for Cowboys vs. NFL DFS Bears

Bears vs. Cowboys presents consecutive games on Thursday for these two teams after they both played on Thanksgiving. Thursday Night Football prices for DraftKings Showdown contests present an interesting challenge when Dallas travels to Chicago. In summary: there are no mid-level options that feel like viable NFL DFS plays.

Sometimes, at least it seems that it is possible to put together an alignment with six competent offensive options, but with the $ 4K- $ 6.5K window that doesn't present to anyone that interests me, I'm forced to pay for Anthony Miller as captain, get Four decent offensive players and then settle for a kicker in a game that I would rather not play a kicker. However, everyone will face the same pricing problem, so we will try to make the most of it.

WEEK 14 RANKINGS NO PPR:

DraftKings Showdown Picks: Cowboys Against Bears

Captain (1.5x price, 1.5x points): WR Anthony Miller, Bears ($ 10,500)

Miller has averaged 11 goals per game in the last three weeks. Even if Taylor Gabriel (concussion) returns, Miller's role in the offensive should be similar to how Mitchell Trubisky has come to trust him in recent weeks. In a list with relentless mid-level prices, the best way to fit at least four more solid plays in this lineup is to pay Miller here.

FLEX: RB Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys ($ 11,200)

We had to choose between Dak Prescott and Zeke, and without a lot of exposure to the Dallas air game, it made more sense to take Elliott. We know that you will probably get around 20 touches and ideally that in more than 100 yards. In a game that favors the Cowboys, hopefully you'll also find paydirt.

WEEK 14 PPR CLASSIFICATIONS: Running | Wide receiver | Hard end

FLEX: QB Mitchell Trubisky, Bears ($ 8,800)

There is simply not enough meat in the average price level to avoid both quarterbacks on this list. It's not that Trubisky is amazing or in a great place. But his legs, along with the fact that he will try a decent number of passes by default, creates a good combination of floor and ceiling that is hard to find in this game.

FLEX: WR Michael Gallup, Cowboys ($ 8,200)

I always find myself playing Gallup on Cooper in these Showdown alignments. It just doesn't seem that the difference is so much to not take advantage of the price reduction that Gallup always has.

FLEX: RB David Montgomery, Bears ($ 7,600)

He continues to receive the ball as the Chicago workhorse. However, this is not a particularly favorable confrontation, so if you don't like Montgomery, you should pay for Jason Witten or Javon Wims and pay elsewhere.

FLEX: K Eddy Pineiro, Bears ($ 3,600)

There was not enough cash for Brett Maher, so on Pineiro slides. He has a decent talent for the legs, although who knows in Chicago on Thursday night how the conditions will be. If you feel safe enough to shoot a Bears TE, you can try.
