Classification of the 14th week of Fantasy RB: Alvin Kamara falls, several waiver pads increase

The runners have been the most important part of the fantasy football charts for a long time, and even in a league of happy passes, they remain key as most leagues start their fantasy playoffs. If you have the names at the top of our Week 14 fantasy RB ranking, such as Christian McCaffrey, Nick Chubb and Saquon Barkley, you feel you have a chance no matter who your opponent has. But every year there are also some sleepers that lead the team to the glory of fantasy, and often emerge by chance in the position of RB. Patrick Laird, anyone?

If you had told me in week 1 that Laird, a player I had not heard of until week 9, would be a focal point in the ranking of week 14 RB, I would have worried a lot. But every time he can recover a pass in a heavy pass offense that drags a lot and aligns it against the Jets, Giants and Bengals, he must at least take note. Of course, all this depends on Kalen Ballage staying out with her leg injury, or maybe it will depend on that meddling.

WEEK 14 RANKINGS NO PPR:
Field Marshal | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

The point is that Laird might not be the best type available in exemptions at RB this week. Depending on the league, others available may include Benny Snell Jr., Derrius Guice, Raheem Mostert and Bo Scarbrough. There weren't even many injuries to worry about in week 14, but if you've been struggling to fill the RB slots in your alignment, hit that wire hard.

However, you will not win in the fantasy playoffs without your tacos. Someone like Alvin Kamara, whose carries have fallen since his return from an injury, adds to that with a tough confrontation against San Francisco. But it could really help Kamara that more of her work has come to light in recent times, and you still have to start it. Ezekiel Elliott must also start against the Bears: we would not expect large yards per carry, but Dallas will commit to getting the ball from Zeke.

WEEK 14 PPR CLASSIFICATIONS: Running | Wide receiver | Hard end

More on the brink of things are David Montgomery (vs. Cowboys) and Carlos Hyde (vs. Broncos): you know you're getting volume with both, but the volume could be all you're getting. And despite the great Week 13, both Adrian Peterson and Peyton Barber should probably be outside their lineup looking inward as they return to the norm in Week 14.

Reminder: These ratings will be adjusted throughout the week, so check the latest updates and analysis often!

Classification of the 14th week of Fantasy RB

These ratings are for standard leagues, not PPR.

RankPlayer
1 Christian McCaffrey, CAR @ ATL. I wonder if there is someone who owns McCaffrey in fantasy football that hasn't reached the playoffs. Probably, but man, it has been fine all year.
twoDalvin Cook, MIN vs. DET
3Derrick Henry, TEN @ OAK
4 4 Nick Chubb, CLE vs. CIN. Even when Kareem Hunt gets more involved, Chubb remains the workhorse in this offensive and shouldn't have a hard time running through all the Bengals in Week 14.
5 5Josh Jacobs, OAK vs. TEN
6 6 Le & # 39; Veon Bell, NYJ vs. MINE. Bell hasn't been great this year, but he will still get the use he needs to take advantage of a cupcake showdown against the Dolphins.
7 7Ezequiel Elliott, DAL @ CHI
8Saquon Barkley, NYG @ PHI
9 9 James Conner, PIT @ ARZ. If Conner does not return for this favorable confrontation, it will mean another week of work for Benny Snell Jr., who would go to the RB2 rank.
10 Leonard Fournette, JAX vs. LAC When you consider the floor that Fournette has created for himself by adding a receiving element to his game, it should be one of the most important pieces for the owners trying to boost the championship.
elevenMelvin Gordon, LAC @ JAX
12Todd Gurley, LAR vs. SEA
13Aaron Jones, GB vs. WAS
14Joe Mixon, CIN @ CLE
fifteen Devonta Freeman, ATL vs. CAR. The Panthers allow most fantasy points for opposing runners, so Freeman returned to health with a good rest 10 days after Thanksgiving to accelerate in Week 14.
sixteenMark Ingram, BAL @ BUF
17 Alvin Kamara, NO vs. SF. This is a brutal confrontation, yes. But Kamara is too talented to leave him out of his lineup, and the fact that he also does so in the receiving game gives him multiple paths to try to find openings in the 49ers' defense.
18 yearsDevin Singletary, BUF vs. BAL
19 Jordan Howard, PHI vs. NYG It is strange that Howard has not been authorized for contact yet on his return from a shoulder injury; It seems that once that happens, he will return for game action. Whoever starts this game, be it Howard or Miles Sanders, should be in fantasy lineups.
twenty Derrius Guice, was @ GB. Guice surpassed the mark of the century thanks to a couple of long races and now faces a Green Bay team that allowed him to get the fifth most fantasy points for runners in 2019. Expect Guice to keep rolling.
twenty-oneChris Carson, MAR @ LAR
22Phillip Lindsay, DEN @ HOU
2. 3Sony Michel, NE vs. KC
24 Kareem Hunt, CLE vs. CIN. Constantly involved in air play, Hunt should remain a solid FLEX option even in the standard leagues the rest of the way thanks to a fairly secure two-digit touch floor.
25Austin Ekeler, LAC @ JAX
26 James White, NE vs. KC. White often depends on the flow of the game, and against the Chiefs, Patriots may be forced to go through enough situations to give value to White, even in the standard leagues.
27Carlos Hyde, HOU vs. DEN
28 David Montgomery, CHI vs. DAL The Cowboys career defense has not been so strong in recent weeks: Montgomery remains a strong FLEX play as the fantasy playoffs progress.
29 Bo Scarbrough, DET @ MIN. The Vikings have allowed the fifth least fantasy points to be runners this season. On the positive side, you should be able to count on Scarbrough for more than 15 carries, providing you with a floor that some of the names around you don't have.
30 Miles Sanders, PHI vs. NYG Sanders moves to RB2 territory if Jordan Howard is forced to lose another game; If Howard plays, you are watching a boom or bust FLEX game with Sanders.
31 Adrian Peterson, WAS @ GB. In a surprisingly strong game of Washington in Week 13, Peterson ran for 99 yards and a score. You will probably see around 10 carries in this one, and the Packers allow the fifth most fantasy points behind, so AP can probably be used instead FLEX.
32 Marlon Mack, IND @ TB. Mack could return from an injury this week, but he would face a dominant Tampa Bay defense, so he may look elsewhere this week, regardless of his health status.
33Drake from Kenya, ARZ vs. PIT
3. 4Jamaal Williams, GB vs. WAS
35 Damien Williams, KC @ NE. We still don't have a good read about Williams's status for Sunday, but this is a difficult confrontation even if he returns.
36 Peyton Barber, TB vs. IND. Two Barber touchdowns in Week 13 have left us totally uncertain about which path to take in this field. Barber beat Ronald Jones 17-6 despite averaging less than three yards per carry. Unless you are super desperate, this is a place to avoid.
37Ronald Jones, TB vs. IND
38Matt Breida, SF @ NO
39Rashaad Penny, MAR @ LAR
40 Patrick Laird, MIA @ NYJ. Laird could be looking at Miami's initial job if Kalen Ballage really wastes time. That would probably mean double-digit trouble to go with about five catches against a Jets defense that can be defeated. You could do worse.
41Duke Johnson Jr., HOU vs. DEN
42LeSean McCoy, KC @ NE
43 Tevin Coleman, SF @ NO. Being overtaken 20-5 by Raheem Mostert in Week 13, along with the possibility of Matt Breida returning, makes the San Francisco field another difficult to count, unless indications are given during the week on what the charges will be of work.
44Tarik Cohen, CHI vs. DAL
Four. FiveRaheem Mostert, SF @ NO
46Latavius Murray, NO vs. SF
47Royce Freeman, DEN @ HOU
48Nyheim Hines, IND @ TB
49Jaylen Samuels, PIT @ ARZ
fifty David Johnson, ARZ vs. PIT It has become totally unusable.
51Rex Burkhead, NE vs. KC
52Frank Gore, BUF vs. BAL
53Dare Ogunbowale, TB vs. IND
54Gus Edwards, BAL @ BUF
55Brian Hill, ATL vs. CAR
56Tony Pollard, DAL @ CHI
57Myles Gaskin, MIA @ NYJ
58Malcolm Brown, LAR vs. SEA
59Bilal Powell, NYJ vs. MINE
60 60Alexander Mattison, MIN vs. DET
61 Darwin Thompson, KC @ NE. If Damien Williams and Darrel Williams miss Week 14, Thompson could be looking for double-digit touches, albeit against a very robust defense.
62Giovani Bernard, CIN @ CLE
63Ty Johnson, DET @ MIN
64J.D. McKissic, DET @ MIN
Sixty-fiveDion Lewis, TEN @ OAK
66Wayne Gallman, NYG @ PHI
