Our lineup of Yahoo Week 14 for GPP tournaments could cause some double shots, but now we will tell you that you are not seeing things: Yes, we have a Dolphins stack. Maybe we are only a week late and it would have been better to use that on our NFL DFS board last week, but the Jets present another opportunity as an exploitable opponent. If you really want to finish at the top of a tournament's ranking, you have to take a chance, and Ryan Fitzpatrick leads ours.
Week 13 was an ugly week for this alignment. Sam Darnold and Robby Anderson did not give up as expected against the Bengals, and DJ Chark did not produce an obvious confrontation against the Buccaneers. Even paying for Christian McCaffrey somehow didn't work out. Unfortunately, you can't beat them all.
WEEK 14 RANKINGS NO PPR:
Field Marshal | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker
NFL DFS Week 14: Yahoo GPP alignment selections
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, Dolphins @ Jets ($ 23). There is really nothing about the Jets that suggests to me that Fitzpatrick can't get close to repeating his 365 yards and three scores from Week 13. There could be an INT or two sprinkled, but we know Fitzmagic will launch it and be on low ownership.
RB Nick Chubb, Browns vs. Bengals ($ 29). We go with the good stack of RB-D / ST with the idea that the game flow will dictate many Chubb control runs against a defense that will not be able to stop it too often.
WEEK 14 PPR CLASSIFICATIONS: Running | Wide receiver | Hard end
RB Leonard Fournette, Jaguars vs. Chargers ($ 29). Fournette has pushed her floor so high, of all things, being a good pass receiver. It is difficult to avoid it at a very fair price against any opponent.
WR DeVante Parker, Dolphins @ Jets ($ 20). The only WR of Fitzpatrick's trust at the moment is Parker, and perhaps his great Week 13 will have some people in it, but there will still be enough bias against the Dolphins to mount this stack with some success.
WR Cooper Kupp, Rams vs. Seahawks ($ 23). The price of Kupp has been going down, and of course, production has not been there in the same way as at the beginning of the season. But Jared Goff looked better (although against a bad opponent) in week 13, so he could arrive on the next big day of Kupp.
WR Jakobi Meyers, Patriots vs. Bosses ($ 10). It was Meyers, not Mohamed Sanu, who saw initial photos on Sunday Night Football. Maybe Sanu was still upset, but more often it was simply that Meyers preferred the veteran. We will try to make that use continue enough in a shootout for Meyers to produce something.
TE Mike Gesicki, Dolphins @ Jets ($ 12). Gesicki is probably Fitzpatrick's second favorite target at the moment and presents another great jump option with Parker. If we go with a Dolphins alignment construction that will give us one of the most unique alignments on the board, we also have to take Gesicki.
FLEX Dalvin Cook, Vikings vs. Lions ($ 37). Some cheaper moves allow Cook's luxury against a terrible career defense. Add the fact that we have three Bellcow runners and the floor of our lineup should be super high: we just need Miami to hit.
D / ST Cleveland Browns vs. Bengals ($ 15). Nothing about an offensive led by Andy Dalton is scary right now, and he is expected to have one or two changes after a fair game on his return to the lineup.
