Kenya Moore became real about her problematic sex life with Marc Daly during the most recent episode of Real Atlanta Housewives when he admitted to Porsha Williams that having his daughter Brooklyn in bed had ruined any possibility of intimacy. Did her dream of having a baby lead her to Moore's broken marriage?
In the last episode, Moore said that having Brooklyn, whom the 48-year-old man conceived through IVF, had changed a lot in their lives. And he noticed that Daly didn't want her to put the baby in the crib and, instead, Brooklyn slept in her bed "all the time."
"It has been difficult," Moore said. "We (we sleep together) when we can, but it is definitely not as frequent as I would like."
Williams had to ask how long it had been since Moore was intimate with Daly, and the former beauty queen replied, "Girl, I'm not even going to say that number."
Moore explained that it is difficult to be in a relationship when there is a little girl involved. She said sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, and sometimes you feel like you want to give up.
The episode was filmed before Moore and Daly separated, and at the same time Williams had his own problems with Dennis McKinley. The 38-year-old woman advised her friend to prioritize "sexually connecting, quot; if they want their marriage to last. Moore agreed and said he needed to do better. He also admitted that he didn't like where his relationship with Daly was at the time.
Moore also admitted to Kandi Burruss that she and Daly had problems in the room before Brooklyn was born. He said that when he was about six or seven months pregnant, Daly began to "get really scared, quot; by his growing belly, and thought it was "somewhat awkward."
To make matters worse, Daly lived in New York City and Moore was with Brooklyn in Atlanta, so spending time together was even harder. When the former couple tried to plan a vacation in Turks and Caicos for their second wedding anniversary, Daly vetoed the idea of bringing a babysitter, and then ended up not going on the trip.
As fans know, the couple has now separated. But Moore said People Magazine that she hasn't given up on marriage. Moore said she did not marry to quit smoking, and that she still loves her husband and there is no doubt that he still loves her.
“Let me be clear, I took my votes seriously. I believe in the good and the bad and I believe in trying everything before you leave, especially when we have a child and we are a family, "said Kenya Moore.
