Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union have nothing but mutual love during the Thanksgiving holiday. Earlier this week, a lot of people online came for Dwayne's 12-year-old son named Zion, however, Mr. Wade didn't have it.
On Thanksgiving, the Bad Boys student posted an Instagram photo of her family, including Wade, Zion and Kaavia James Union Wade. Twitter users online, for the most part, were very positive, however, one person criticized the way Zion dressed.
In response, Dwayne stated that he has seen many hateful comments about his family after Thanksgiving, because "stupidity is part of this world we live in, so I understand it." The basketball player added that he has chosen to lead his family and no one. Otherwise he will fulfill that role.
While some enemies hated his comment, others were very positive, including a commentator who described it as "touching, quot; and "powerful, quot; that Wade and Union chose to embrace their children's individuality.
I've seen some hatred after thanksgiving on social networks about my family photo. Stupidity is apart from this world we live in, so I understand it. But here's the thing: I have been chosen to lead my family, not all of you. Then we will continue to be ourselves and support each other with pride, love and a smile! ✌🏾

Wade has another son named Zaire, who is 17, in addition to a six-year-old son named Xavier. At the beginning of the year, Union went to the Miami Beach Pride festival with his son and during a conversation with Variety in June, Wade talked about what it was like to raise his children.
Wade told the media that he doesn't like to talk much about his son's story because it was his story and not Dwayne's. The NBA star told the media that, as a family, it is your job to show love and mutual support.
And as a parent, it is your job to support them and encourage them to follow the path they want in life. In addition, Dwayne stated that it was crucial to support them in the path they choose.
As previously reported, Gabrielle Union, Dwayne's wife, found herself at the center of the controversy after claiming that her work was unfairly dismissed on the set of America has talent. Many industry artists praised her for speaking.
